WE were blessed by glorious weather, and a good turnout, for the Cyclocrossrider 'launch ride' out into the lumpy North Downs of southern England - the Kentish Ronde. Everyone enjoyed the day immensely despite a smattering of punctures on the ancient Pilgrims Way and some testing Downland climbs like the 19% Commority Hill.

It was great to see everyone enjoy the route, the weather and the camaraderie so much. There were some impressive bikes (and wheels) also on show as riders got the opportunity to test their race rigs pre-season.

A big thank you must go to all those who rode and helped at the Ronde and also to our impressive hosts - the Cyclopark, Gravesend, Kent.

More words will follow, but for now, here are a selection of images (with thanks to Carin Smeets).
