Sunday 17th August 2025 : White Peak Gravel & 4th PEAK ROUGH STUFF - GPX Off-Road/Gravel Sportive.

PEAK ROUGH STUFF (harder option): 86km (54 miles).
WHITE PEAK GRAVEL: 64km (40 miles).

THE rolling landscape of the White Peak is criss-crossed by ancient trackways and punctuated by stunning limestone dales. Ride our White Peak Gravel or Peak Rough Stuff and you'll explore a stunning off-road circuit starting from Summat Cafe & Gym in Bakewell, that will provide a stern challenge but not an ordeal. Choose from two popular unsigned, self-sufficient routes - suitable for gravel, mountain or cyclocross bikes - and explore little-known tracks, trails and lanes, away from the weekend crowds. You'll get a GPX file and a printed route map for navigation and will start in groups of 10 or more at your own pace.

"All killer, no filler" 2022 rider Aiden McH.

First held in 2022 the event and routes have been a big hit with all riders whether you are new to off-road riding or preparing for the gravel or cyclocross racing seasons - we've even had an Olympic mountain bike rider take part. The White Peak Gravel route is a smoother option with less climbing whereas the Peak Rough Stuff option is a full-fat loop designed to test your off-road skills and stamina.

OUR fifth annual High Peak homage to the oldest and hardest monument of them all Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Dramatic, high peakland scenery, hidden lanes and memorable climbs, our popular climber's classic is a tough day out in the same vein as the Ardennes monument it emulates. Return to the HQ by 14:30 and you'll be able to watch the last hour of the Liege-Bastogne-Liege men's race. We are expecting another decent turn out for a ride that gets you in shape for the summer sportives. "Take a map of the area between Sheffield and the High Peak, throw a dart at it, and you'll hit a hill." Simon Warren (100 Climbs). Featuring Mam Tor (from the easy side) pictured below.
